Cooperation agreements were signed at Nevsky Forum in St. Petersburg

On 21 June, the Presidential Academy signed the cooperation agreements with the universities from Myanmar, Armenia and Belarus.

The ceremony of signing took place in the Mariinsky Palace, the venue of the VIII International Nevsky Forum 2024, an annual large-scale event organized by RANEPA St. Petersburg.

The cooperation agreement between the Presidential Academy and the Civil Services Academy (Upper Myanmar) was signed by U Kyaw Soe, Rector. U Aung Thaw, Chairman of the Union Civil Service Board of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar as a Head of the Myanmar delegation and Vyacheslav Kalganov, Vice-chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg attested the signing.

The cooperation agreement between the Presidential Academy and the Civil Services Academy (Lower Myanmar) was officially submitted to the Myanmar delegation for further signing by the Myanmar party.

The Cooperation with Myanmar has been developing since 2023. Elizaveta Pronyakina, Associate Professor, Department of International Relations at RANEPA St. Petersburg lectured for the Myanmar executive authorities in November. It is planned to develop scientific cooperation, offer advanced training and Russian as a foreign language programs.

Andrey Khlutkov, Director at RANEPA St. Petersburg officially submitted the agreement signed earlier by Andrey Margolin, Vice-rector at RANEPA, to Karen Petrosyan, Director at the Armenian State University of Economics, Gyumri Branch. The document will authorize the launch of academic mobility initiatives.

The cooperation agreement between the Presidential Academy and Euphrosyne Polotskaya State University of Polotsk (Belarus) was officially submitted to Aleksey Radyuk, Dean of the Humanities Faculty, for further signing. The document will enable to intensify the cooperation in education and research.
