On 26 May, RANEPA St. Petersburg Faculty of Social Technologies hosted The 3rd All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference «Russian Cultural Heritage – Preservation, Management, and Dissemination: Russian Language, Literature, and Art». This large-scale event marked the Day of Slavic Literature and Culture, which is celebrated officially annually in memory of Saints Cyril and Methodius, the creators of the Slavic alphabet.

Researchers from different Russian universities came together to discuss issues of national identity, cultural codes, and digital space, as well as trends in intercultural communications and media education.
International guests, particularly, from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Vietnam, also joined the event. The student section featured presentations from the students of Russian universities, as well as international students studying Russian at the Russian language foundation courses at RANEPA St. Petersburg.
A highlight was the performance by RANEPA St. Petersburg students from China, particularly playing the Russian song «Katyusha» on the traditional musical instrument, the pipa, which provided a vivid illustration of the vibrant dialogue between cultures.

Engaging Russian and international students in scientific practices and public initiatives related to the preservation and dissemination of Russia’s cultural heritage is of great importance. Events of this nature strengthen collaboration between scholars, facilitate experience sharing, foster joint projects aimed at promoting knowledge and language culture among young people.
