SPIEF’26 Youth Day: creative industries, customs administration accelerator and like-minded peers

On June 6, the final day of the 29th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, SPIEF International Youth Day — “Future Day” — took place at the Expo Forum venue.

The agenda featured strategic sessions, foresight discussions, and open dialogues with thought leaders. The Creative Industries Forum also provided an opportunity to delve into trends in the creative economy, media, and design thinking.

As part of a business game organized by the Russian Export Center’s School of Export, RANEPA St. Petersburg team, headed by Anastasia Getman, Head of the Customs Chair, and Marina Rakhkonen, Senior teacher, participated in a practical initiative for international students and entrepreneurs. The team developed and presented a unique project – “Russian Marketplace Entry Accelerator” (RMEA): a road map for foreign entrepreneurs planning to enter the Russian e-commerce market.

The SPIEF Youth Day helped as, as young professionals in customs administration, to see how theory is transformed into real market tools. We realized that a modern customs officer and foreign trade professional are not just executors, but trategists, capable of building complex logistics and finding new solutions amid restrictions.
