The program provides the basic principles of the world economy and the basics of international financial markets.

Students discover issues related to conducting international trade and address practical issues of currency transactions. A particular attention is paid to the practical aspects of the financial system. In the process of learning students conduct case studies and complete practical tasks.

The program is practice-oriented and consists of 5 compulsory and 3 elective courses. A student needs to get 14 credits to complete this program.

Compulsory courses (each of 2 ECTS):

  • Economic History
  • World Economy
  • International Economic Relations
  • International Financial System
  • Financial Mathematics (4 ECTS)

Elective courses (at least one is to be selected by students):

  • Digital Technologies in Economy (4 ECTS)
  • Russian as Foreign language (4 ECTS)
  • International Trade Policy (2 ECTS)
  • Understanding of the international and Russian business
  • Discussing current issues of the modern economics
  • Skills to address legal issues in the sphere of financial management
  • Knowledge of main principals of international financial markets
  • Standard certificate with grades, academic hours and credits

Admission requirements:
• level of English – B2
Application deadline:
• 15 May (for winter semester)
• 15 November (for spring semester)
