
On November 24, RANEPA St. Petersburg hosted the 4th International scientific and practical conference “Project approach in the implementation of the State program “Social and economic development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation”.
“An active government support has stimulated the rapid growth of infrastructure investment projects contributing to the effective development of the Arctic. …About 20 new companies join as residents the Russian Arctic zone monthly, exceeding in total 500 at the beginning of 2023…”

Nine reports were focused on goals and main directions of the State policy in the Arctic: development of the North, science and technology, ecology and international cooperation.

Among innovations are modern resource-saving technologies, improved batteries for autonomous energy supply, grease lubricants for difficult climatic conditions and much more.
