
The Congress “Vocational Education, Science and Innovation in XXI Century” and St. Petersburg International Scientific and Educational Salon take place in the framework of St. Petersburg Science and Vocational Education Week on 28-30 November 2023.
Academicians, management of the leading universities, undergraduates and PhD students, representatives of innovative organizations and the government came together to large-scale events aimed at presenting educational, research and innovative activities of St. Petersburg universities and addressing current issues of staff training and the role of professional mentoring amid new realities.
Andrey Khlutkov, Director of RANEPA St. Petersburg gave the presentation “RANEPA St. Petersburg as an Environment for the Nation and Patriotism Understanding”.
“The Presidential Academy acts as a full partner to the State in the process of generating objective knowledge about the country, society and patriotism among the younger generation… We pay great attention to disciplines of an ideological nature, such as, philosophy, cultural studies or the new course “Fundamentals of the Russian Statehood” and to educational work…particularly as concerns volunteer initiatives often taken by our students themselves”

At the round table “Knowledge”: Traditions and Innovations of Education” Andrey Khlutkov shared about RANEPA St. Petersburg contribution to the nationwide campaign “Share your Knowledge. New Horizons”: employees and teachers lectured in a very entertaining manner on important issues aimed at the developing personality of younger generation, cultivating soft skills and traditional values with a focus on the public interest priority. The audience consisted of over 3000 students at a large number of local educational institutions.
