The present event is an opportunity to discuss the vision of the processes of the internationalization of education from the standpoint of universities in different countries. We are particularly focused on the approaches and practices of our partners with whom we are currently actively building up various ties. We are very pleased that the representatives of universities from Serbia, the CIS countries, Southeast Asia — Myanmar and China, Latin America joined us in person and online.

…On behalf of our delegation, I have an honor to express my deepest gratitude to the Presidential Academy in St. Petersburg and the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg for the warm invitation and the creation of a platform for discussion and for a well-orginized work. Moreover, I would like to say that I firmly believe that thanks to Nevsky Forum, useful and valuable solutions and concepts emerge for many countries. I would like to end my speech with one important fact that I should note: we are all now in the trand on internationalization but not westernalization, no matter how fa,iliar it may sound. I would like to say that we will achieve success only through an effective cooperation and interaction, taking into account the national special features of each country.
