On July 4, the best student’s buddies were awarded at RANEPA St. Petersburg.

In September 2024, the Presidential Academy in St. Petersburg launched the «Association of Student’s Buddies» aimed at making the activity of student’s buddy community more effective. Throughout the year, experienced buddies and experts trained the new peers and provided support to first-year local and international students.

Our student’ buddies shared:

For me, a student’s buddy job is my favorite thing that makes me happy! It is an opportunity to be a lighthouse for first-year students at the beginning of a new chapter in their life. In my opinion, buddies are exactly those students who help first-year students comfortably adapt to a new educational system, make it vivid and interesting!

I believe that student’s buddies play one of the most important roles in the adaptation of first-year students at our university… We advise, guide, and set the atmosphere in a new environment… I was simply myself – open and sociable, this helped me support first-year students during such an exciting period… I definitely continue my work as a student’s buddy and I am already looking forward to meet our first-year students.
