From April 6 to 12, RANEPA St. Petersburg hosted the Faculty of International Relations and Politics Week featuring a wide range of educational, scientific, and student events.

On the opening day, the meeting with Vladimir Chaplygin, Honorary Consul of the Republic of El Salvador in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, was dedicated to the memoirs of diplomats.
During the week, student scientific societies prepared a speech writing work shop, a geostrategic game “Balance of Power in Europe”, “Summit of Minds” quiz and training for the Student Council candidates.
One of the week’s highlights was a “no-necktie meeting” with Rahman Mustafayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Russian Federation. The participants discussed the Russian-Azerbaijani relations, the informal aspects of diplomatic service, and prospects for academic cooperation with Azerbaijani universities. The guest also focused on the climate agenda, emphasizing the importance of discussing this issue.

I would like to express special gratitude to Natalia Muyzinik, Dean, as a creator and inspirer behind the most interesting events of the week, as well as to the student associations and Nelly Sipunova, Deputy Dean, for an eventful and multifaceted agenda.
