On October 23, the Student Scientific Society of the Chair of International Relations and the Center for Arctic Research and Projects at the Presidential Academy in St.Petersburg will host a student business game «BRICS+ Model: Arctic Track»

Participants acting as delegations from BRICS+ member states will simulate a multilateral discussion on the prospects for Arctic cooperation and agree on a draft framework document. This format will enable students to gain practical experience with multilateral diplomacy tools, master negotiation and solutions working out skills for international cooperation in the Arctic.

The «BRICS+ Model: Arctic Track» project was selected as a winner in the «Innovative Developments and Research» category during the second stage of the 2026 grant competition organized by the PORA Expert Center (Project Office for Arctic Development).

Application process was carried out under support of the “Modeling Arctic Cooperation within BRICS: Opportunities and Challenges for Russia in the Era of Global Turbulence” (No. 25-18-00379, by the Russian Science Foundation) project members and the Center for Arctic Research and Projects of the Presidential Academy in St. Petersburg.
