Brand media in the age of digital transformation were discussed at RANEPA St. Petersburg

On April 1, the Faculty of Social Technologies at the Presidential Academy in St.Petersburg hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Management of Information and Communication Processes in the Sphere of Mass Media. Brand Media: Formats and Methods of Interaction with Business».

The leading experts, scientists, business leaders and students came together to discuss the current issues of brand journalism in corporate practice, best strategies, management, creation and promotion technologies for company brands.

Prof. Dr. Maksim Kim, Head of Journalism Department, RANEPA St.Petersburg, welcomed the participants.

The latest trends in media were addressed at a plenary meeting. Our foreign guests Dr. Gulsum Tagieva, PhD, Samarkand State University (Uzbekistan) and Dr. Aleksey Radyuk, Dean of the Humanities Faculty Euphrosyne Polotskaya State University of Polotsk (Belarus) made presentations.

The conference was productive. My presentation on promoting a sports centre kept the audience interested, and I am glad I had a chance to share my practical experience. I enjoyed the atmosphere, I was happy to meet colleagues, share ideas and outline new areas for cooperation

I noted that the implementation of information and communication technologies is significant for modern education, particularly, for scientific conferences. We saw how our teachers not only present their work to us, but also share their experience with colleagues from other regions in real time.
