The Faculty of Economics and Finance team participated in the business game “The Best Plant” organized at XII Russian International Energy Forum which was held on 24-26 April 2024 in St. Petersburg.

The task was to assemble batches of plugs using the principles of the LEAN production concept, which has become popular in all economic sectors globally.

Our students learned production flow optimization and standardization principles, the classification of production losses, followed up on the LEAN production impact on company performance and applied the theoretical knowledge. All the participants gained an invaluable experience in teamwork, brainstorming and using LEAN manufacturing tools.
