Current issues of global and regional development were discussed at RANEPA St. Petersburg

On 12-13 March, RANEPA St. Petersburg Faculty of International Relations and Politics hosted the 6th Kosov’s* Readings “Russia in the global world. Global and regional development issues».

During two days, experts, teachers and students at universities of St. Petersburg and Moscow discussed specific issues of international cooperation in the energy sector, global demographic and migration processes as a challenge to regional and national security, political aspects of integration processes in the post-Soviet space, the Eurasian integration in a multipolar world and the global role of SCO and BRICS amid the global governance evolution.

Kosov’s Readings has opened the Spring Scientific Decade marking the 25th anniversary of the Faculty of International Relations and Politics. Our faculty has been developing and is now a powerful unit with a single integrated approach to a graduate by offering over 10 bachelor, master and PhD programs.”

Kosov (1954 — 2018) – a renowned Russian scientist, the main focus of his research: world politics, CIS activities, Russian foreign policy; RANEPA St. Petersburg Deputy Director (as from 2013), Deputy Editor-in-Сhief of RANEPA St. Petersburg scientific journal “Administrative Consulting”, editorial board member of scientific journals “Eurasian Integration”, “Baltic Region”.
