On the 17-19th December, The Faculty of Economics and Finance held the traditional winter semester event for its international students both enrolled in the full-time programs and the short-term program “Innovation Management in Digital Economy” in the framework of academic mobility.

26 international students from China, Indonesia, Thailand, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan were welcomed in the Country Recreation Center of the Presidential Academy located in the picturesque St. Petersburg’s suburb on the Gulf of Finland.

This time, the agenda included the lectures on Financial Management, SWOT country analysis, International Trade Policy, particularly, the topics sanitary and phytosanitary measures of the EAEU countries, USA export controls of sanctioned countries were considered. As usually, a cultural immersion unit where the students read the Russian poems, sang in Russian and Chinese, shared stories and played games, supplemented the rich lecture program.

Further to lectures, our international students presented on the International Student Conference “Digital Economy” and were awarded for their topic depth elaborating, tailored approaches, interesting examples and expressing academic perspectives.
