On 15 and 16 April, Svetlana Levina, Director of Advertising and PR Bachelor program, Journalism and Media Communications Chair, and three final-year students visited Polotsk (Belarus).

In the framework of “Cultural Method” international contest, being organized by RANEPA St. Petersburg since 2019, Euphrosyne Polotskaya State University of Polotsk (Belarus) hosted the round table “Art Meets History: Museums and Contemporary Cultural Practices” aimed at discussing museums activities, cooperation with universities to conduct educational activities for students, libraries mission to preserve national cultural heritage.  Particular attention was paid to digital formats of interaction with the youth – from neural networks to create interactive installations to multimedia solutions engaging the audience.

The team of RANEPA St. Petersburg students ran a number of workshops for over 70 Belarusian students while Belorussian students presented social value projects for Polotsk urban environment.

This visit has contributed to raising RANEPA St. Petersburg brand awareness in media space of Russia and Belarus and to strengthening partnership between our universities. The «Cultural Method» contest has received new impetus to expand and attract talented young people from different countries.
