On the 8th November, over 80 Russian experts and young scientists gathered for the first research seminar as one of the scientific events on “Development of the Eurasian region: parties’ interests and internal development strategies” topic.
The Department of International Relations at the Faculty of International Relations and Politics, RANEPA St. Petersburg, hosted the event in its partnership with the Institute of the Earth Sciences by St. Petersburg State University, Institute of Scientific Information for Social Sciences (INION, Moscow) and Primakov National Research Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO, Moscow), both of the Russian Academy of Sciences, International Institute for Democracy Development Monitoring by IPA CIS (St. Petersburg).
The seminar was aimed at studying practical and theoretical issues of international cooperation development in the Eurasian region covering topics from higher education and building regional strategies to overcome objective cooperation challenges and regional security to searching for political identity. The event generated a lot of interest.
