On September 29 – October 3, Euphrosyne Polotskaya State University of Polotsk (Belarus) hosted the International Scientific Forum «Modern Approaches to Preserving Historical and Cultural Heritage in the CIS Countries».
RANEPA St. Petersburg delegation joined the event.

Over 70 leading international experts came together for the event organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States, and the Polotsk Spaso-Euphrosyne Convent.

The historical and cultural heritage of our peoples is a unique asset uniting generations and shaping the cultural identity of each CIS member state, while creating our common cultural code.
I am confident that the forum will become a unique platform for discussing modern approaches and developing sought-after solutions which will not only help preserve monuments but also educate the younger generation in understanding of their values.
