On 09-10 July, the Serbian delegation was welcomed at the Presidential Academy in St. Petersburg.
Vladimir Cvetkovic, Dean, Nevena Nastic, Secretary, Prof. Miroslav Mladenovic, as the representatives of the Faculty of Security at the University of Belgrade met RANEPA St. Petersburg colleagues Andrey Khlutkov, Director, Denis Raisky, International Relations Advisor to Director, Konstantin Korolev, Head of the International Cooperation Department and discussed the issues of expanding cooperation between our universities.
Andrey Khlutkov emphasized that the Presidential Academy is committed to developing the academic mobility of students and teachers, holding Summer and Winter Schools and implementing joint scientific projects.
Studying Russian as a foreign language is a new promising cooperation option.
In recent years the interest of Serbian students in studying the Russian language, Russian culture, and Russia has increased. And we hope that on this wave we will be able to implement a large joint project.

The guests also visited the Faculty of Security and Customs at RANEPA St. Petersburg. At the meeting with Aleksey Petrov, Dean, and the academic staff, the initiative of the 3-weeks Winter School and the issues of future joint project activities, particularly as concerns security of migration and critical infrastructure, economic and education security were discussed.
The proposals made and agreements reached are an important step in developing the bilateral faculty interaction and an impetus for the expanding cooperation between our universities in general.
