This year, 55 international projects, considered independently by both the Russian and Chinese parties, were funded within bilateral partnership. There were only two applications in social science and humanities including the project prepared by RANEPA St. Petersburg and Shanghai Maritime University.

The project “Development of the Russian-Chinese trans-Arctic/Pacific transport corridor based on the principles of the “blue economy” will be implemented at the Presidential Academy in St. Petersburg in 2026–2028. It implies the addressing of the following issues: building of port facilities based on «blue economy» and ensuring safety of maritime navigation, as well as reducing environmental damage from this sea route operation.
We congratulate our research team and wish to implement the project successfully!
