RANEPA St. Petersburg student as a prize winner of Petropolitan Science (Re)Search Open International Olympiad

Fedor Shilnikov, a third-year student in Public and Municipal Administration, as a young researcher in Sustainable Urban Development Training Unit was awarded by defending his research in the topic «Prospects for the development of public transport in St. Petersburg».

The ever-growing interest in the management of interconnection between transport system quality and population social mobility is generating a demand for professionals able to conduct research and apply outcomes in urban management.

Petropolitan Science (Re)Search is an Open International Olympiad organized by St. Petersburg State University. Students and graduates of 400 universities of Russia and worldwide compete in 23 areas annually. Interesting to note that RANEPA St. Petersburg students regularly win in this Olympiad.

Such competitions enable students to develop their creativity and scientific capacity and also encourage them to conduct research.
