The meeting of the Working Group of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS) took place with the aim to develope a new version of the Concept of a common migration space for the Commonwealth countries. RANEPA St. Petersburg upper-year students in Law joined the event as observers to look behind the scenes.

To gain practical skills it was extremely useful for our students to have an opportunity to observe the model lawmaking at IPA CIS live. They saw how the document text is agreed upon, how amendments are discussed and made by the working group members.
