On the 22nd November, the fourth-year Bachelor students in Political Science attended the 57th Plenary Meeting of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS).
Current issues related to strengthening cooperation in the field of economics, ecology, social policy as well as joint initiatives in science and education were discussed in the Tavricheskiy Palace – IPA CIS home and headquarters.
The participation in such kind of events is a practical part of “Foreign Policy Analysis” and “International Organizations” training courses, a unique opportunity for students to deepen the theoretical knowledge in the field of international relations and current political processes in the CIS countries, and better understand the every-day activities of international organizations as well.
The cooperation between the Presidential Academy in St. Petersburg and IPA CIS has a rich history, emphasizing the importance of interaction between the academic environment and government agencies aimed at the training of qualified professionals well prepared to address future challenges.
