On December 4-12, the Faculty of Economics and Finance, RANEPA St. Petersburg, hosted the 5th International Scientific and Practical Student Conference «Sustainable Development Management in the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation». The event has already become a renowned expert platform for a dialogue between the student research community, government agencies and business.

The conference featured over 80 speakers from Russia, Сhina, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

The agenda covered a wide range of topics crucial for the future of the Arctic: from infrastructure development, environmental safety, and human resources to national security and international cooperation issues.

The presented research and lively discussions have shown the high relevance of the Arctic agenda and the deep interest of the younger generation in scientific research in this strategic area.
