The Best CIS Student Studying in St.Petersburg Award 2023

On 30 November, 60 best students from the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States studying in 17 leading universities in St. Petersburg were awarded with letters of appreciation presented by Evgeny Grigoriev, Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg.

Today over 18 000 students from the CIS countries study in St. Petersburg.

The festive event was held in the St. Petersburg Government in the framework of the 11th International Forum “Eurasian Economic Perspective”.

Among the awarded were nine RANEPA St. Petersburg students:

  • Saikal Abytova (Kyrgyzstan, Faculty of Economics and Finance)

“A four-year Psychology student, Amir Baltiev was nominated as a buddy of international first-year students at our faculty and also for his effective assistance in recruiting applicants from Kazakhstan. Amir has chosen an interesting topic for his diploma thesis: “Social and psychological inclusion of international students at a university (inspired by RANEPA St. Petersburg experience).” I believe Amir is on the right track.”

Vladimir Kiselev, Deputy Dean, Faculty of Social Technologies

“The learning process at our faculty not only provides an opportunity to gain theoretical knowledge but to apply it in practice which is very helpful by choosing a future career path. Students can actively participate in extracurricular and scientific activities as well… After completing my studies, I’m going to stay and work in Russia since I have already chosen my professional focus.”

Olga Temirbulatova, a four-year Law student

Congratulations and wishes of new achievments, success and scientific discoveries to our students!
