On 6-8 May, Memory Days as a part of cultural immersion initiatives within the current learning process in the Russian Language Courses were organized for international students, who have been studying Russian to apply to RANEPA St. Petersburg and other Russian universities.

On the eve of the 9th May – the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945, international students from Iran and China learned about the great feat of the Soviet people, about enormous losses and challenges, about the war and rear heroes and laid flowers to the monument to the Hero of the Soviet Union, a 19-years old sniper Feodosy Smolyachkov.
