The postgraduate program is aimed at training of highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical staff with the skills of independent scientific analytical thinking, based on a deep understanding of theoretical and methodological basics for addressing professional issues in universities, specialized academic institutes and other research institutes; archives, museums; other cultural institutions; expert analytical centers, public and government organizations focused on information and analytics.

Research objects: Russia’s past in all its diversity of concrete historical, comparative, interdisciplinary and theoretical aspects throughout the chronological span of Russian history, the activities of the state and society, nations in all spheres of life at various stages of historical development
