Description

The Master’s degree programme prepares highly qualified specialists with in-depth knowledge in the field of HR-management of state and municipal services, budgetary and commercial organizations. The graduates of the program are able to ensure the effectiveness of organizations using modern HR technologies.

The program allows you to carry out operational and strategic management to work with the organization’s personnel, including:

  • strategy and policy development for organization’s personnel management& carrying out activities aimed at their implementation;
  • personnel management system design;
  • personnel service management;
  • personnel management’s economic and social efficiency  assessment;
  • development and application of modern personnel management methods;
  • development, economic justification, assessment and implementation of projects to improve the personnel management system and HR-technologies  (including crisis situations).


Forms of in-class activity: lectures, practical classes, trainings, individual consultations, seminars and discussions.The Master’s degree programme is practice-oriented and gives the graduate, in addition to knowledge, the skills necessary in his professional activity.

Aims

We aim to develop such trends in HR educationas

  • Ability to identify the mechanisms of distributed control , i.e. the ability to form and coordinate mobile teams of dispersed specialists   for specific projects.
  • Ability to create complex algorithms that will identify skills and opportunities not described in the resume (for example, through data from social networks and analysis of professional trajectories of applicants).
  • Ability to create conditions for continuous development of employees and support «internal entrepreneurship» — employees’ independent search for solutions that optimize the business.

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of the course, the student should be able to and we are making sure that the student does possess these professional competences:

  • develop philosophy and concept of personnel management, personnel and social policy, strategy of personnel management of the organization
  • to assess human resources, intellectual capital of personnel and the whole organization, to determine the directions and to formulate tasks for the development of the HR- system and HR-technology  in the organization
  • to apply a project-based approach for professional problems solving
  • to be able to assess the impact of the external environment, to design organizational changes, to analyze and design interpersonal, group and organizational communications andto form an employer brand
  • apply an integrated approach for data collection, modern methods of data processing and analysis in managerial and research problems solving
  • to be able todevelop and implement corporate standards in the field of personnel management
  • to be able to develop and apply technologies for personnel assessment and a competency-based approach to human resource management
