The program is aimed at training professionals in analysis of society as a complex hierarchiсal system in the context of globalization and regionalization as well as study of social relations’ transformation processes, new forms of social stratification, changes of social mobility trends, value identities of individuals and groups, behavior patterns.

- Particular attention is paid to the objective dialectic of equality-inequality relations between elements of the social stratification structure at various levels of social space. This enables to offer informed recommendations in social policy that have broad social value both at the federal, regional and industry levels.
- Among professional competences is the study of the analysis of society operation as a complex system in the contexts of globalization, anti-globalization, regionalization.
- The unique feature: postgraduates gain in fact three professional specializations — in sociological, economic and political science which significantly contributes to both further scientific and career paths.

Program objects:
theories that reveal the essence of social processes and relationships at various levels of social organization, social phenomena, patterns of social development, mechanisms of social change in the global space, in Russian society and in regional social spaces, transitional eras, countries, regions, social communities, public life, social systems;
real social phenomena, connections, institutions and processes in global, regional and other socio-economic, socio-political and socio-cultural systems, social processes and structures at macro and micro levels, social communities and social relations within these communities and among them, their reflection in the public consciousness, as well as the impact and methods of influencing social communities and social relations;
processes of social scientific research, including methodology, methods and tools for conducting scientific research, techniques for analyzing and systematizing information, developing models of the processes under study, phenomena and objects of professional activity, mechanisms for forecasting, designing and optimizing social indicators, processes and relationships, developing methodology and tools for sociological analysis in accordance with conditions, goals and objectives.
