The postgraduate program is aimed at training of highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical staff in the field of science, studying the managerial sphere of social life, sociological and socio-psychological basics of management, social stratification of social systems, organizational structures, interaction of social institutions and society, social processes and their regulating within organizations of various types.

  • Training of highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical staff in the field of research of social mechanisms and methods of managerial influence on society, its individual spheres (economic, social, political, spiritual), social groups and organizations, on human consciousness and behavior. In the challenging field of management sociology, concepts of the management process are being developed as a specific type of social interaction that has stable and regular forms.
  • Sociological prospects for the study of subject-object relations in the management process are determined by the study, on the one hand, of management institutions (mechanisms for staff selection and training; specialization in the segregation of roles and functions; hierarchy of status positions, mechanisms for monitoring and assessing personnel behavior, etc.), and on the other hand, the social impact of management decisions made (assessment of the effectiveness and quality of management, interpersonal relationships in management processes, value orientations, motivation and the degree of involvement of individuals in management, etc.).
  • The unique feature: postgraduates gain in fact two professional specializations — in sociology and management (administration) which significantly contributes to both further scientific and career paths

  • Fields of study: issues of interaction of subjects and objects of management, social modeling, social forecasting, social planning and design in conditions of changing social reality, principles and methods of management in current conditions; social technologies in management system; mechanisms of social regulation; challenges of HR management in organization; management culture; development of innovative technologies for management decision making; conflict management; crisis management
  • The subjects of research: managers in businesses of various sizes, as well as in government bodies; methods, functions and forms of modern management in the system of social relations; behavior of social groups in the labor market: communities, classes, organizations, individuals; the relationship and mutual influence of the sociology of management and the social sphere of public life, as well as the labor market, both local and global; correlation and intersection of scientific interests and conceptual systems of the sociology of management, sociology of labor and sociology of organizations
