The program focuses not just on international relations in general, but specifically on Eurasia – a space where the interests of the world’s largest powers — Russia, China, the EU, the US, Turkey, and India — intersect, integration associations (EAEU, SCO, CSTO, and CIS) operate, and global trends (economic competition, energy, transport corridors, and security) collide.

The program offers a deep dive into the international relations of the key regions of Eurasia, with an emphasis on integration processes and practical interactions between countries.

A unique focus on real economic processes in the Eurasian space.

  • Fundamental knowledge of politics, economics, and culture in the region
  • Expert analysis of integration projects (EAEU, CIS, and other associations)
  • Practical skills for working in international organizations, businesses, and government agencies

CURRICULUM

Main courses:

  • Political and legal basics for the Eurasian Economic Union’s operations
  • Mechanisms for multilateral partnership within international and regional organizations
  • Development of trade within the EAEU. Customs regulation
  • International cooperation between EAEU member states, bordering and neighboring countries, and Middle Eastern countries
  • Economic modernization of the EAEU countries, bordering and neighboring countries
  • Political modernization of the EAEU countries, bordering and neighboring countries
  • International cooperation of the EAEU member states, bordering and neighboring countries with the countries of Latin America
  • International cooperation of the EAEU member states, bordering and neighboring countries with the countries of the Middle East

Career opportunities:

  • The Secretariat of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly – participation in the development of model laws and interstate initiatives
  • The CSTO Parliamentary Assembly – security analysis and legal cooperation
  • The Ministries of Foreign Affairs and agencies of the EAEU countries – diplomacy, trade and economic cooperation
